Eating carbohydrates during your work out helps your body recover faster
Today there’s good news for carb lovers as new research shows that consuming them while you exercise helps your body recover. The findings show that consuming carbohydrates either during or immediately after working out helps your immune system and muscles repair faster.
The research was conducted by Dr Jonathan Peake and Dr Oliver Neubauer from the Queensland University of Technology, who reviewed studies about exercise and immunity.
